DRUM leaders at the 2014 United We Dream National Congress
Over 500 undocumented and immigrant youth leaders from across the country attended the 2014 United We Dream (UWD) National Congress. DRUM leaders attended the Congress which was held from February 21st – 23rd in Phoenix, Arizona. We all met with the purpose of strategizing and determining the fight for the dignity of immigrant families in the upcoming year. The Congress included strategizing sessions, workshops, panel discussions, caucuses and a march to a downtown Phoenix detention center demanding an end to deportations.
